Needle-Free Filler

Want more volume in your lips and reduced wrinkles, but don’t want to resort to needles?

This restorative treatment works by using compressed air to project dermal filler through a small opening into the skin, the pressurised air penetrating right down to the dermis for an instant, long-lasting plumping effect.

Using the most advanced technology on the market and shaping your skin according to your own individual requirements, the treatment is gentle and unobtrusive compared to traditional needles.

Treatment protocol

Pre-treatment protocol

This treatment is for mild to moderate wrinkles only. Your practitioner will advise you if the treatment is suitable.

If you have ever suffered with oral herpes (cold sores), you should seek advice (a minimum of 2 weeks prior to treatment) from your pharmacist about a course of anti-viral medication.

You will need to allow a minimum of 2 weeks following IPL skin rejuvenation, hair removal or superficial/highly superficial chemical peels (laser resurfacing or a medium depth chemical peel will require a minimum of 4 weeks) or until the skin has returned to normal.

Avoid using any form of depilation in the area to be treated for a minimum of 3 days prior to the treatment, e.g. waxing, threading etc.

You will need to allow a minimum of 4 weeks after you have had a permanent or semi-permanent tattoo (including microblading) in the area(s) to be treated.

Please note that it is advisable to notify your practitioner, a minimum of 7 days prior to each treatment, of any changes to your health or medication.

Post-treatment protocol

It is expected that the area will appear red, swollen, bruised and sensitised for several hours after treatment.

Do not palpate or touch the treatment area(s) for a minimum of 48 hours unless advised by your practitioner.

You are advised to move the facial muscles and keep the treatment area ‘mobile’ for a minimum of 24 hours following treatment.

Avoid the application of any additional products to the area for a minimum of 48 hours. This includes cosmetics and skin care products other than the professional products recommended to you by your practitioner.

Avoid intense heat or excessive cold for a minimum of 24 hours.

Avoid further treatments on the area for a minimum of 2-3 weeks.

Do not use a sun bed or expose the skin to UVA/UVB during the course of treatment. Use SPF 50+ sunscreen daily.

Stress and lifestyle will affect the longevity of the product. Aim to improve your diet and sleep pattern and avoid smoking to prolong the effects.
