Galvanic Cellulite Treatment
Troubled by cellulite?
With this treatment, a small current is passed through the area of concern and cleanses and nourishes the skin condition through an electrochemical process.
This results in trapped fluids and fat being dispersed, improving the appearance of the skin and muscle tone.
What are the benefits?
This treatment increases circulation to the area and breaks up the fluid deposits around the fat cells which give the appearance of dimples on the skin. Galvanism has further effects as the current used introduces anti-cellulite products to the area.
What is the downtime?
This treatment does not require any downtime. You may return to normal activities straight after your treatment.
Are there any possible side effects?
How many treatments do I need for best results?
This treatment will take approximately 30-60 minutes (excluding consultation). On average, a course of 12 treatments 2-3 times weekly will be required.
Avoid microneedling, chemical peels, laser hair removal or skin rejuvenation treatments on the area 2 weeks either side of treatment.
For 24 hours following treatment:
- Avoid heat treatments: UV exposure, saunas, steam room, spa pool, hot bath or shower
- Avoid make-up (unless using mineral products)
- Avoid exfoliation, waxing, bleaching and self-tan
- Avoid swimming
- Avoid strenuous exercise/gym
- Avoid perfumed products
- Avoid additional facial/body treatments
